What is Atapuerca? Why is it important?

Atapuerca is a place with many archeological rest. It is important because we found there, some paints and many things that help us to understand some things about the past.________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Where is it? _Is in Burgos, at the north of "Ibeas the Juarros"___________________________________________________________

What can you find there?

It accumulate evidences of the presence of some humans (maybe homo erectus people) that were there for more less 1.000. years ago.

In Atapuerca, some aercheologists found a skull of a neanderthalensis person. That mean that that person was alive in the Neolithic age!!!!

 (I think this is a little bit scary!!!)

Arroyomolinos have a very beautifull landscape, surrounding Arroyomolinos are for example Toledo Mountains and Sierra Morena mountains, and you also an see the Guadiana river.
Arroyomolinos have a mediterranean climate:The Mediterranean climate mean that is cold in winter and hot in summer.
In Arroyomolinos there are 16.207 inhabitants  more less.

THE HISTORY OF ARROYOMOLINOS.

Arroyomolinos was founded during the Muslim invasion, to later be conquered by Alfoso VI of Castille.

The first name of Arroyomolinos was `` Chozas del Arroyo´´ . It was founded in the year 1400. Later Pedro I `` el cruel´´ meets  ``Dia Gomez de Toledo´´ and repopulated with 80 inhabitants this village.

FRIST PICTURE: You can see at the background some montains, and also you can see the village of Fuenlabrada, but is so far so that is difficult to see. You also can see some houses and little vegetation.

SECOND PICTURE: You can see some mountains in the backgroun, in the foreground you can see a trunk of a tree, some vegetation and also you can see the village of Parque Coimbra.

CLIMATES

  HOT CLIMATES.
Are the area between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. It recives the most direct sunlight.

Equatorial climate: This is the Amazonas, in America. It has an equatorial climate.


Tropical climate: This is Kenia, in Africa. It has a tropical climate.

Desert climate:This is the Sahara, in Africa. It has a tropical climate.


TEMPERATE CLIMATE. Are between the tropical zone and the polarzone in bouth hemispheres.

Oceanic climate: This is Galicia, In Europe. It has a oceanic climate.


Mediterranean climate: This is Andalucia, Europe. It has a Mediterranean climate.



Continental climate: This is Auvergne, Europe.It has a continental climate.


COLD CLIMATE. Include the area around the poles, and also areas arond an altitud of 2 500 metres.

Polar climate: This is the Antartida.  It has a polar climate.


High Mountain climate: This are the Andes mountains, in America. It has a high mountain climate.

 Is a large amount of water moving very quickly in a particular direction. This is Pico Lustou torrent. Is an area of soft muddy ground. This is a blancked bog.
 Is the regular rising and falling of the level of the sea.
 The smooth steady movement of the river.

MY TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD.

Hi, Peter:
Here in Sofia, (Bulgaria) it is very cold. I visited some monuments: the University of Sofia and the National Culture Palace. Here it´s all very beautifull, but I dont like the food at all, there are some things that are delicious, but others are horrible! Well, I write you this letter to tell you about my travel around the world.
From Madrid, I took a train to Lisboa. I spend there abut 2 days. I visited the Maria Maior Cathedral and the Belem Tower. From there I took a plane to London. There I only spend one night, but I will return there when I finish my travel around the world to visit some things that people say me that are interesting. From London I took another plane to Sofia, where I am now. In two days I will go to New York and New Zeland and also I want to go to Bombay and Egipt. In New York I will visit the Liberty Statue and in Egipt, obiously the famous pyramids. From there I don´t know what I am goig to do. I will write you another letter in Egipt or Bombay, where i will tell you what i am going to do next. I am buying you some presents in each place I go, I hope you like it. Here I leaft you some photos I take in Sofia and Lisboa.
